Matlock Police is a police series with a difference. Set in the fictional country town of Matlock, the police are part of day-to-day life for the community. Away from the big city, the team at Matlock deal with a wide spectrum of provincial police work.

They encounter characters from all walks of life dealing with the social tensions and controversial attitudes of country folk in the 1970's.
